Timeout Settings In Android

We have often noticed in Android, that, if we switch on the mobile hotspot and then not connect any device for some time, the hotspot gets switched off automatically, leading to a problem when we actually want to connect a device. Hence, I’m going to share the steps by which you can increase the timeout settings in mobile hotspot for Android.

PS: CLICK ON THE IMAGES, TO GET THE FULL VIEW.

1. Pull down your notification tab and click on the text Mobile Hotspot.

2. Click on Details present at the right corner in the bottom of the page.

3. Click on the three dots at the upper right hand corner of the page and click on Timeout Settings in the small box that appears.

4. Click on the timeout option as per your requirement.

So in just 4 simple steps, you can solve your issues. I’ll be posting more about such features in Android. Till then, take care!
